Peachcurls‘ personality really shines through his music and having a full band backing him this time around definitely showcases his songwriting ability. Peachcurls sings about relevant and personal topics like the killing of young black men in America with funk and soul. His fearlessness with interacting with the crowd is impeccable and his singing and guitar playing abilities definitely do not disappoint.
This is my third time seeing Bluelight perform and I always find something new and exciting about their performance. With their jazz, funk, blues-fusion sound, they offer a fresh perspective on the genre. Even though the talented group is led by Philip Anderson, each artist can definitely hold it down on their own when needed.
The Woovs provided an excellent blend of jazz and soul. With a large ensemble, they capped the night at Musica with a memorizing and energetic performance.
